Design Services & Branding

Designing architectural graphics or a wrap for a vehicle requires multiple disciplines of graphic design expertise. The design team at Elite Tinting and Graphics specializes exclusively in architectural, vehicle wrap, and identity design. That’s important. You see, some companies outsource design services. Not Elite. Our design team is in house, and works in tandem with your project manager to provide exceptional design services that are tailored for our industry.

We understand every detail of this highly specialized design process. We ensure that the design and branding effectively represents your company, business or product while utilizing the most sophisticated design techniques. To date, our designers have collectively designed more car wraps than any other firm in northern Minnesota.

Over the years, we have found that it helps for clients to understand the Design Process.

The Design Process

Step 1. Quote

Several details are needed to begin the quote process. If the wrap will be installed on a vehicle, we will need the make, model, and year. We will need to know if it is a full or partial wrap. We will need to know the location and the budget. If the project is for a wall or signage, sizes will be required. Once the sales representative has this information, a quote will be provided to you within 24 business hours—if not sooner.

The details of your wrap project can be submitted online or by speaking with one of our design team members by calling (218) 628-3008.

Step 2. Consultation

Understanding your company and industry are key to creating a wrap that will complement your marketing plan. Our team will work with you to gain an understanding of your company, industry, competitors, clients, and marketing.

All of our 3M™ vinyl projects are designed within your current brand standards to reinforce the messaging that is familiar to the target audience. We understand that a vinyl project is an investment. And our job is to maximize your return on the investment. Our sales and design staff have been working in the advertising and marketing industry for 25+ years and are committed to utilizing their expertise to create a successful plan that includes vehicle wraps.

Step 3. Design

Once we have a thorough understanding of you and your goals, a designer is tasked with creating custom options. We don’t recycle ideas among clients. And if a brand has not been established for your business, our team of designers will develop a look that best reflects the personality of you and your company.  Once a concept is created, the proof will be sent. You will be emailed the proof so you can provide feedback and properly approve the design.

Step 4: Production

Once a design has been approved, the artwork is prepared for production. All graphics are printed, laminated and prepped for installation at our facility. We have state-of-the-art technologies with the capability to print graphics as big or small as you would like them.

Step 5: Installation

Following approval of design, our scheduler will determine the earliest-possible date for installation based on your calendar and our team’s availability. This typically falls within two weeks of approval, but can be longer during peak times of the year. We will require that vehicles are washed and dried 24 hours prior to drop off. Actual installation time varies depending on coverage, but plan on leaving your vehicle with us for 36-48 hours minimum with wraps and three to eight hours on vinyl graphics.
