Our mission: transform a wall at the Mall of America with the incredible "Wicked" Wall Graphics – all within a tight overnight deadline. The goal? Make it look like magic! ✨
First and foremost, we want to give a quick shoutout to Imagine for doing the graphic design and production, and shout out to Installation Solutions for managing the product. They killed it, and we can't wait to work on another project with them.
The Challenge of Vinyl
Now, let's talk vinyl. Working with wall wraps can be tricky. It requires precision and patience, as any overstretching or misalignment can throw off the entire design. Luckily, our team has decades of combined experience and knows how to handle these challenges with ease.
Pre-paneling for Precision
To ensure a flawless finish, we used a technique called pre-paneling. This involves carefully aligning and positioning the graphic panels before applying them to the wall. This extra step allows us to achieve pixel-perfect accuracy and ensure the design looks exactly as intended.
Now all we have to do is press the film down with a squeegee. Push out all the bubbles, taking our time while still keeping the deadline in mind. And in under 12 hours, we got the job done, and ready for opening day.
